Some of the festivals are competition-based, while others are essentially big laidback slacker gatherings. Either way, there is fun to be had. WebMost highliners (including myself) like to thread their leash through webbing for redundancy and extra protection from wear. The leash should attach to the line by a solid, rated, ring (or two). ABSOLUTELY NOT a carabiner. If you are rigging off bolts 3/8' quick links (or larger) will be ideal for connecting spansets.
